I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper; using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Tuxie with Mom's Yellowware Pitcher - one of our beloved tuxido kitties.  He had been  hanging out on a chest by the window in my studio. This gave me the idea to do another cat sill life using one of Mom's antique pitchers.
