I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Orbs #2 ~ is a recent painting; I worked on it daily for over two weeks. I started with painting curving lines that branched out like tree branches in several colors coming in from all sides. I then added small orbs and worked on the color blending and adding more waves. I thought I had almost completed it but the next morning it seemed not dynamic enough so I then added several larger orbs. Once they were added, I worked on blending the colors some more.
