I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Solar Flares `  a painting of the sun for my space collection. I spent the week on it, I tried to make it look a bit like the close-up photos of the sun with the rays expanding out in all directions reaching the planets of our solar system. I’ve included the planets closest to the sun on the page. I put a lot of paint on the page and tried to project all the energy and light that comes from the sun that enables our little planet to thrive.
