I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
My mom chose this cheery fruit stoneware when she got married in 1946. Our family used it every day and I still love it. I painted Ruth's Stangl Pitcher in my mom's honor in 2008 and gave prints to my three sisters. I hope you like it and that it will cheer up your home too!
