I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Ripples ~ For this painting, I had an idea to do expanding circles like ripples. I started w/ a ripple that expanded through the whole page & then added more in various sizes & directions using mostly different shades of blue. I added spirals, dots & waves in contrasting & complementary colors to add interest & focus. I like the way it looks a bit like tropical waters w/ bright floral colors.
