I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
Orbs and Spirals ~ an abstract where I was playing with color again. I started with several expanding spirals of various colors overlapping in places and then scratched over to get more texture. I then added the spheres and decided to make them orbs, so the colors behind them bleed through. I find orbs interesting and magical, sometimes you can see them in photos floating about. I am pleased because I can see how I’ve progressed with my color abstracts, they are more complex now. It was a fun painting to do.
