I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Magnolia Blossom in Mom's Gnger Jar is a  still life that I painted in honor of my Mom.  Her birthday is in January and I try to do a painting with her in mind around that time of year.  The ginger jar was hers.  I’ve always loved it and now it graces our dining room side board.
