I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Happy Pig ~ an early whimsical painting. I was born in the year of the Pig, which I began to embrace during my travels. In Mexico there were fun loving piglets running through the villages. In Thailand, I saw a beautiful porcelain pig which had been a prized gift to a queen who had also been born in the year of the Pig. Pigs are content with life and bring good luck!
