I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.  
 
Girl with Two Redbirds - a folk art style painting I did to symbolize the astrological sign Libra,  the girl looks centered while she holds two bowls with the male and female birds balanced on each side of her.
