I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Fire~ I decided to do a abstract painting using mostly warm colors inspired by the fire element. It was fun to do. I laid out red and orange waves and circles and then built up a big yellow fire ball that looked like a sun or sunflower. I then added contrasting cool and dark colors.
