I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
Fall Abstract ~ In this painting, the idea came to me that I could do abstracts representing each season as a way to push myself into expanding my color palette. I included a large circle that reminds me of a harvest moon, it looks somewhat like a landscape. I used several layers of paint which I scratched through which gives it a moody effect.
It reminders me a bit of a Paul Klee, an artist that I love. I think he used these colors in many of his paintings.
