I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
Dove in Black Hole, Crow with Light is my fifth time painting the dove and crow together. This time I decided to put them out in space with the dove flying out of a black hole, while the crow flies out of a white hole, with many stars in between. Black holes are more well known but theoretical physicists propose a less understood but equally fascinating counterpart: the white hole. Unlike black holes, which attract matter, white holes would repel it. Both are related to the formation of galaxies.
