I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
When I was very young our family used to visit my great aunts up in Virginia most summers. They were very loving & enjoyed the simple things in life. This painting reminds me of their front room, where we would sit listening to their delightful stories.
