I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Cauldron is a new painting for my Cosmos series.After I posted Particle and Wave on my Instagram feed, I rememebered how I liked the sense of depth within the space and decided to try a new painting in a similar style. In this painting, I pictured the mysteriious black hole as being a vessel where galaxies are being either drawn in or expanded out. It seems that scientists are learning more about how black hole work from the incredible images taken from the Hubble telescope. It’s fascinating seeing these and learning more of how galaxies may have been formed.
