I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
Caribbean Dreaming - I painted this fish in the dead of winter while thinking of warm tropical waters. Ever since I was lucky enough to spend three weeks on a fishing boat in the Caribbean and discovered snorkeling, tropical fish have amazed me.  I love painting them, with their unique shapes, large eyes and gaping mouths.
