I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
This is a painting that I made in honor of my parents.. They loved sitting in their sunroom watching the songbirds drop by their back yard. Blue jays are bossy but they sure are beautiful birds that liven up the spring landscape.
