I paint with acrylics on watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
 
The dove to me represents peace. In this painting I was playing around with the repetition of round shapes and the use of my favorite complimentary colors - orange and blue. Blue Dove is one of my favorite dove still-life paintings; I hope you like it too!
